Xyn Gu
I’m Xyn Gu (Xin Gu), a Toronto-based filmmaker, editor and AI creative producer. I trained in film editing and 3D animation in Paris. My films combine storytelling, post-production and generative AI.
I make films and digital media with generative AI, Blender 3D and editing. I refine them with your feedback and check the final version before delivery.
I produced, directed and edited STARFARE × 1, a 15-minute AI sci-fi short and the 2026 People’s Choice Award winner at UnHuman Shorts II. I’m also developing The Wild Swan, a vertical AI micro-drama adapted from Andersen’s fairy tales.
I’ve made videos for Apple and Huawei, and marketing films for luxury brands. My independent short De-Extinction was nominated for the SILBERSALZ Science & Media Awards.
